Illegal alien jurors taking GOP corruption trials U.S. jurors don't want.
With the increasing demand for jurors in corruption trials of Republican operatives, court officials are faced with a shortage of jurors. Complicating that shortage is the fact that American jurors are selective about what kind of trials they hear. They want something easy and exciting like on Law and Order and not some protracted and tedious offense like a national security violation or campaign ethics violation. Further, the $12 per diem juror fee makes local jurors feel that their service is not worth the effort. In desperation court officials are turning toward illegal Mexican jurors who seem willing to take the corruption trials American jurors don't want and are happy with the small stipend. Labor advocates decry the practice stating that it forces jury fees down for everyone.

1. A lot of these cases could be outsourced to the Hague.
