Update on the critter in the crawl space
Edited on Thu May-18-06 07:15 PM by Droopy
I posted this thread early this morning:

The critter quieted down this afternoon and I thought it might have found it's way out of the crawl space, but the noises are back.

I noticed that the noises are not coming from different areas beneath the house. They are isolated to the bathroom. At least that's where I hear them the loudest. I remember when I had to call Roto-Rooter out to have my sewer line cleaned. I don't know how it works, but the guys had to climb up on the roof to do it. Evidently I have a vent for the sewage line up there that also allows them to clear the line when clogged. I'm thinking that a squirrel was perching up there on the pipe and fell down inside.

The noise sounds like a pissed off squirrel. There is lots of chattering and it's sounds like it's scratching on metal. I'm afraid that there's nothing I can do for it without some serious plumbing work.

Anybody got any ideas?

On edit. It can't be in the sewer line because I probably wouldn't hear anything then. I'm clueless.
