2. Little story here.

When I was in nursing, a patient of mine, an incapacitated stroke victim, had many B&W pics on his wall. As it turns out he is/was a world reknown B&W photograhper. Fantasic work. Many Urban themes from San Francisco, Chicago, San Jose, NYC... Near his pics was a framed letter with a pic of him(much younger), with an older man. The older man was Ansel Adams. The letter was a letter of thanks from A.A. thanking this dude for his help and the pleasure of working with him/apprenticship.
At age 19, after his girlfriend was murdered in Chicago, this dude drifted to SF and somehow was taken in by Ansel Adams, who took him all around the western hemisphere shooting pictures and sharing techniques.
He learned his trade from a God!
