I've never put anyone on Ignore. Though I've thought about it a bunch of times. The worse someone seems, the more I want to keep an eye on them, so Ignore would be counterproductive.

I always think it's going to be the people in the really loud debates in GD who are going to put me on ignore, but it's people on minor threads over nothing.

I had never spoken with this person until then. She was posting about her pet issue, the only time I ever see her post, and was basically acting hysterical.

I offered a respectful rebuttal in order to elevate the argument, but her head apparently exploded, so she lashed out at me, and now I'm in ignore. Oh, well.

62. I put people on ignore because I'm a cantankerous old fogey that tends

to speak his mind. So any ignoring that I do is more to protect myself from my own character faults than anything else; a temporary measure until I have a chance to let it blow over. Doesn't happen often, and never for more than 3 days.

No idea whether or not I've been put on ignore. I'm sure I have. (Even if only because I've replied to "ask me anything" threads and whatnot :) - but probably because of something specific I've done)
