Say the president died in a biking accident tomorrow morning...
How would you react?

(and be serious, I'm really curious)

1. A) this is the Lounge, so no I won't be serious
and B) I'd shit my pants once I heard President Cheney speak.

3. I'd feel sad for his family. Then I'd feel sad for us having
Cheney. Ugh.

It's not really something I wish for.

4. I would think "Well, that doesn't surprise me."

I would then laugh because that incompetent asshole will go down in history as the worst of the first 43 presidents who left office at the lowest approval rating of any of the first 43 presidents, AND he will be known in perpetuity as "The president who died riding a bicycle".

And then I would feel bad that we didn't get the chance to impeach him; nor the chance to see all the hatred pour out for him over the next decades while knowing that he was still alive to hear and to know and to suffer from the hate.

And then I would feel bad for his family - sort of - but mostly I'd worry for my country, because it's always tough to lose a leader, even if he isn't much of one, in that way, and the transition into President CHeney could be an awful time and experience.

5. I don't think President Cheney would be a concern
He'd hear the news and flatline. :D

6. I'd feel bad...
simply because the press would try to canonize him like St. Ronnie before we were given enough time to properly disgrace his legacy.

Then I'd be scared because Cheney would be legitimately running the show :scared:
