I'd go yell at seal hunters with Paul for $200,000,000.00.

She also made it known that she was pissed that Paul was more famous than her...well YEAH!

5. poor Paul

He was so in love with Linda. I think he may have been seriously taken advantage of here. And that breaks my heart. :(

8. I think he just fell in love with the first woman he met after Linda
I lived in the UK when she was known as a "glamour model" which means essentially she took her top off for anyone who would publish it, and there were always whispers about her being a call girl. She went from wealthy man to wealthier man.

She does not deserve one cent. His poor children.

9. he married her
no pity here, he knew what he was getting when he married her, she was his legal spouse, she does damn well deserve to be taken care of

10. coincidentally, I just returned from a meeting with a senior executive

...at his label. He spent a lot of time on the road with both Paul and Linda, and then later Paul and Heather. With Linda, he said, their love was amazing....you could see it in the way they talked, the way they touched. Linda's primary focus in life was to love and protect Paul.

Heather, on the other hand, was a "bitch with a capital B". He says she would berate him constantly, in front of strangers. She was a horrible nasty person to him, and he says it's probably worth the $40 million Paul is going to have to pay to get rid of her. :o

20. Forty million
...sounds pretty optimistic to me. If there's no pre-nup in Texas, you get half of everything earned during the marriage.

13. Not to be flippant
because I'd be pissed too

but when you really boil it down, is being left with over 200,000,000 pounds REALLY that bad?

Specially when the dollar is trading at $1.88 to the pound.

18. His kids are probably sad to see he's been taken, but glad
he dumped her. I feel bad for him, but think blaming the media is a bunch of baloney. Linda married Paul in 1969; the Beatles were still together (OK...barely). She was treated really badly by fans, media, etc. and look how long they lasted?

21. That's sad
I really don't like how he's being treated as the victim in all of this. He is after all a man in his 60's, if he married someone he ought not to have and risked his rather substantial fortune there's really no fault there but his own.

Oh well, with just one ex wife and young child to support at least he won't have to go on semi-permanent tour, unlike a certain other aging British rock star of similarly advanced age.
