How many steps is your facial skin care regimen?

What are the steps?

7. I forgot about the eye makeup remover
Edited on Wed May-17-06 12:02 AM by u4ic
D'oh!

On the days I wear eye makeup, yes, that comes first.

Some days 4 steps, some 5.

What products do you use?

I've got Klorane eye makeup remover, ROC cleanser/Earth Science cleanser/scrub (every second day), Earth Science toner, Biotherm hydrating moisturizer, Lise Watier eye cream, Marcelle clay mask. (next time out, I'm going to try the Lise Watier moisturizer)

I also use fish oil and either flax or hemp oil for my skin, too (taken internally).

9. Wash - soap and warm water.
Rinse. Dab a bit of witch hazel on a Cotton ball over face. Air Dry. Go to bed.

Done until the next night.

And still, the facial skin of this 46 year old woman who spent 20 years of her life working in a shipyard and/or at sea is still the envy of many a thirty year old woman. (mostly genetics, but there is some "good living" and basic care involved. - like 30 + block sunscreen (no PABA) when necessary outdoors and an occasional dab of "kiss my face" or jergan's lotion if it's very dry)

16. I'm so metro.
First, I squeeze out any blackheads. Then I use a pre-shave beard softener wash thingy. Then I shave with a cup and brush, dammit. Then a kaolin clay mud mask. At night, after cleansing myself thoroughly, I apply a small amount of night cream.

You don't even want to know what I do to my hair. ;)

17. Can't Count...
Night: wash with non-soap cleanser and rinse. Blot dry a little; night moisturizer. Morning: rinse with warm water, blot dry, SPF 30 day cream. Rest of life: avoid direct exposure to sunlight.

25.  From a friend who's a Sephora district manager....
Cetaphil skin cleanser and your favorite moisturizer daily. And a lovely gentle facial massage of St. Ives Apricot facial scrub in the shower, about 2-3 times a week to get rid of the flaky dead skin cells.

Shhhhh, don't tell anyone :D
