Katherine 1 - OK but nothing above that. She got screechy.

OK, but not as good as he usually does. I'm dissappointed in him so far tonight. He's my favorite so hopefully his 3rd song will be better.

She did good, but I wish she hadn't gotten all screechy towards the end. She over-did it and the song is much better when not over-done.

Taylor and Elliot were about even this week. Taylor had one excellent song and so did Elliot, but their other songs were just average good. Katherine did the worst and she should definately go home.

I thought it was a meh evening all around. I thought Elliot did fine, but none of his songs was particularly memorable which I thought is what hurt Chris last week. So I'm guessing it'll be a Taylor/Katharine finale. Worst final 2 ever on the show.

katherine is a beautiful girl who thank goodness hasn't adopted the anorexic look. i think she sets a very good example for the teenage girls who are the prime demo for american idol.

I agree on that. I think she's lovely and just the right weight. She brings to mind Ava Gardner.

And of course I don't know her, but it just seems like she's Miss Blessed. From Sherman Oaks. Kinda makesme cringe. That face she makes when they tell her she was crap pisses me off. She always seems SHOCKED. :/

39. My Thoughts on The Final 3 and Paula

I like Elliot, but he lacks charisma and stage presence. He does have a great voice though.

I like McPhee. I think her voice has improved substantially over the last few weeks. I loved the way she did "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". I don't think she's smug. She seems kind of sweet and unassuming to me and at times she can be downright "doofy"!

I really like Taylor and I really want him to win. He may not be the best singer in the world, but he is so much fun to watch. He just makes you laugh and smile and get into. He is a great performer.

On a late note, me no likey Carrie Underwood. I thought she was corny.

Question: Is it me or is Paula out of whack sometimes. She looked high or drunk half the time and acts kooky, but I've always liked her even though she could not sing! LOL!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow was almost on par with Fantasia's Summertime.

And the two soul-boys will be splitting a lot of votes tonight.

Katharine's definitely in, and so's Elliott.

Her other 2 were OK, and at least showed her range.

Elliot, as ever, sang brilliantly.

Taylor - who I've thought for a long time deserves to win this - was a'ight. Nothing more.

Based purely on tonight, it's down to Elliot & Katherine. If she can ever reign in her diva-wannabe tendencies, she could be astounding. Elliott is the best singer this show has ever had, period. Will he win? I dunno. But I hope he does.

43. I think Taylor's going to win

I like Elliot a lot, but he's seemed awfully nervous the last couple of weeks and a little bit out of his depth. Katherine redeemed herself tonight with song #2. I thought she was out of the competition until she aced that performance. But I think Taylor's going to win because he has more variety in his performances and because people just can't guess what he's going to do next to make them laugh.

on Idol. I also had a hunch that Taylor was going to pick an Otis tune tonight, whether it be "Dock of the Bay" or "Try a Little Tenderness". And I've come to the conclusion that Elliott's a little obsessed with Donny Hathaway (tonight he sang another cover tune in the Hathaway arrangement).

I think we'll be seeing Katharine and Taylor next week in the finals.

45. Only my opinion, but...

Taylor knocked it out of the park last night. Katherine's second song "Rainbow" was much better than Elliot's second song, but Elliot's first & third songs were better than Katherine's first & third songs. Katherine should go home, but I know too many men who are voting for Katherine just because of her boobs. Elliot will probably go home because he can't compete with Kat's boobs.

I think Taylor's going to win. My theory is that women and young girls vote more than men. When Taylor was here in town last Friday, 12,000 people showed up to see him at the Galleria, and most of them were women. It was a madhouse. (I heard -- I stayed in my house and didn't go anywhere near the place!)

I don't know what it is, but women love Taylor, and I don't think even Kat's glorious boobs can beat him.

Katherine and Taylor are in the finals. Elliot was good, but blah. Katherine's second song was the best of the season. I cried. I love that song. Taylor's Cocker was great. Rainbow and Cocker got them in the finals.

Elliot is my favorite, but unfortunately this contest doesn't seem to be about their voices or performances. Chris got booted off last week when it was obviously Katherine's turn to go. This week Katherine did the worst(IMO) again.
