New Controversy Swirls Around DaVinci Code's Depiction of Saviour
Yep. It looks like the code has revealed that - contrary to what we've all been told - the god
Mithras DID actually come to earth and become incarnate as a human being. Until now, we've all
believed that Mithras was created in a celestial heaven but never descended to earth. Well, that's all changed
now.

In all other respects, the accepted history of Mithras' life remains in tact, including his having 12 disciples,
healing the sick, working miracles and rising from the dead after three days in the tomb. We can all rest easy
in the knowledge that the god (ie: Mithras) who was called ‘the Truth,’ ‘the Light,’ and ‘the Good Shepherd.’ did, indeed,
sacrifice himself to redeem mankind.

Personally, I think the whole "Mithras came down to earth and took human form" thingy is fiction and the work
of an overly active imagination. Next thing you know, they'll be telling us he married some prostitute!

When it comes to Mithras, I'll stick with the historical facts, thank you very much.

4. It all happened in heaven, don'tcha know?
Who sez god can't use rocks to build tombs in heaven? But if God is all powerful, could he make a rock
so heavy that he couldn't lift it?

Actually, we know that the god of the Bible wasn't all powerful. You know, that old
chariots of iron problem:

Judges 1:19
And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain;
but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
