Make magazine and 2600

I would classify both of these mags as hacker magazines. The premise of Make is for users to make technology do what you want it to do not what the corporations tell you it should do. Even if you never build anything I think its worth looking at.

2600 is the grandaddy of hacker mags. They have been on the cutting edge of technology innovation on forward thinking. Hackers are not the criminals that the media wants you to believe in. The pursuit of Knowledge is the hackers ultimate goal
