What does your pet do, to show you that he/she loves you?
My cat washes my hair. If I lie down, he will sit there and lick my hair, just as if he was washing himself. He won't stop unless I get up.

1. awwww! Damien pets me
very gently, on the side of my face. He also stands up next to my computer chair and taps me on the leg with his front paw, and cocks his little head to one side when he wants to sit on my lap.

Damien:

3. Insists on getting to sleep in my bed at least once a week.
Hate that. But I have to allow it because once he's up there, (on top of the covers) he's up there. If I try to take him out of the bed, denying him his once-weekly nappy-time quota, he becomes irate, and eventually finds an excuse to bite me.

7. RARELY more than 8 inches away from me
He's a greyhound, which explains a lot. If I wonder where he is, I stick my left hand 8 inches behind me, and there he is. Sometimes he stands for long periods of time just leaning on me.

If anyone but myself has him on a leash, he struggles to get away from them and reunite with me.

When I take him to the offleash dog park, he runs circles around me at full speed, grinning ear to ear, making me laugh by making close passes around me.

As I type this, he is tightly pressed against me.

9. Wolfie follows me everywhere.
When I'm home, he's never more than 5 feet away unless he's doing his business in the yard. And if there's a thunderstorm he has to have physical contact with me.

12. all of them insist on sleeping with me
Lewis rubs his head against me endlessly, butts his head under my hands to touch me

Clark gets on the bathroom counter every morning and mews until I put my head down where he can then "bump heads" with me not once but several times before he will get down. He demands lots of petting and affection in the morning as well.
'
Thomas sits in my lap, and gently taps on my chest until I touch him then goes in to massive purr mode and rub on me ..he has the best purr.

Zilla rolls over on his back, exposing his belly to me. That is trust too. Loves his belly rubbed...and is such a sweet little teddy bear.

13. One of them tries to give her biscuits to me.
She takes it when we give it to her, then she wags her tail and tries to put in it my mouth. :D The other one rubs her knot (at the base of her skull) all over me. Her head glows hot when she does that, and she has a big grin on her face as she's doing it! :)

14. He cuddles up to me at night
When my husband and I sleep at the same time, it gets rather warm. He usually greets me when I come home too. He usually follows us and wags happily if we give him attnetion. If we are sick or upset, he stays right with us.

16. Tries to give me a new hairstyle,
nuzzles into my neck under my chin, brings me all sorts of woodland critters, comes running out to the car when I come home and gets a ride back inside over my shoulder, sits on the laps of all my friends when they show up, wants to get in the car with me when I'm about to leave for the day.

18. Oops won't leave my side when I'm sick
Usually, he's up and down and in and out and making a bit of a pest of himself but he knows when I don't feel well and he snuggles up with me and purrs all day. It's so comforting. :loveya:

I guess since I don't sit on the floor and lick myself, my cat thinks I don't bathe and she needs to help me.

on edit - here's my "little" animal:

She's not fat, just big-boned! And sitting in a very unladylike position.

And to show he's glad to see me, he practically dances above the floor, little tail wagging furiously, with an actual smile on his tiny face, a big grin where I can see his teeth, LOL!:loveya:

25. Awww... The only one who would cuddle with me in bed was my beloved cat.
And I also had a Barney, the dog of my heart. He was rescue and I lost him three years ago at age 18. I miss him still.;(

Barney :loveya:

28. Thank you. :-) I love all my guys, but Barney was special.
He was 10 or 11 when I adopted him, had spent his entire life as a stud dog at a puppy mill. When he got too old, they were just going to put him down. But he was saved by a wonderful woman in rescue who told me that they insisted that he could never live with people because he never had. Poor little guy wasn't even housebroken. But he was perfect for me, from day one, with the sweetest temperament, a gentle soul. I had him for eight years, my beautiful, perfect boy.:loveya:
