11. Schadenfreude Cassarole.
I am making it with all the schadenfreude I am experiencing at the people in GD who are acting like crybabies because Gore didn't endorse their particular candidate.

24. Yes, and I am taking every tangential opportunity to express my....
...displeasure at their whining about it like they were entitled to Gore's endorsement or that Gore had no right to endorse someone without consulting every one of us first.

BTW, anyone know what I can make out of sour grapes? Does it make a good wine or just a good whine?

in a roasted red-pepper froth and sweet vermouth over perciatelli, a spinach salad with hazelnuts and gorgonzola in a balsamic vinaigrette and lemon zabaglione. But dinner isn't for hours yet out here on the left coast, so I could change my mind before I get into the kitchen.

A 3 hour simmered sauce (made previously in a huge batch and frozen, of course), seasoned chicken and pasta. Best thing I've ever learned how to make, and it has everything the body needs. :D

38. My God!
That sounds too sensible! How often do you abide people telling you you eat like a bird? The "Greatest Generation," after all, had to eat three substantial meals a day because it was expected of them, I guess ... or because they were less sedentary than this one.

Thirty-six beers and a small dinner seems to get me by, mostly.

36. I quashed my squash ...
... and went downtown with my honey to wash down blackened salmon and mashed taters with a Newcastle. Good stuff. It's prepared by my stepson's partner--a former apprentice of Wolgan Puck.

I guess I'll save my mega-buttered squash to be re-heated at a later time.
