4. On "My Three Sons", he only worked five days a month
They would shoot all of his scenes for several episodes in one week. The rest of the time, if there were any shots of anyone talking to him, they had to speak to an empty chair.

Nice work, if you can get it.

5. I didn't know he was a right-winger.
It seems the character he played in The Caine Mutiny didn't require as much acting as it appeared.

Both Freddie DeCordova shows.
