Where can I get an industrial strength/size collander?
I need one to help strain the hops and barley and such when I brew. The normal sized collander is just too small and I inevitably get steam burns on my hands. I need one srong enough to rest on sides of a five gallon bucket while I pour the wort through it....

Any thoughts?

6. 'Nother vote for rest. supply
And you could probably find a restaurant supply liquidator--think about how many go out of business--and find one for cheap.

8. You can buy sterile bags for the barley and hops and eliminate the task

altogether. This is a more effective manner to manage bacteria anyway.
:D

It also aids you in managing the hops if you use one during brewing and a second hops for "finishing."

10. Viking...
I was at the Viking store this past weekend and saw them there. They make a solid stainless steel oversized collander that would probably work for you . Check out a Viking store if you have one near. Otherwise, I'm sure you can find one online.
