I have directv. I want to get tivo (or its equivalent) in time for world cup. Do I have to order new directv equipment with DVR (their version of TIVO) or can I actually get tivo separately? Pardon my inorance. If I have a choice, what's cheaper? Who installs? I sure as hell don't want to. Thanks.
