My (favorite) Great Uncle's boyfriend died in his sleep last night

He is in California, and I am in NC....and feeling so crummy because I can't be there for him.

This just sucks; my Uncle is in his eighties, and not in good health.

Uncle Dick's husband died of a brain tumor several years ago...that was devastating. When my sister and I were little we called them "Aunt Dick and Uncle Dick," (both named Richard, both nicknamed Dick...and no, I am not kidding!)....I grew up in a bizarrely liberal family, btw.

I should post some of my weird assed liberal stories on DU someday.....

But, anyway, I hate this for Uncle Dick...hate it hate it hate it. I KNOW he is torn up all to hell and back.
