The Sparks were on The Gilmore Girls tonight...
along with Sonic Youth, Grant Lee Phillips and Yo La Tenga...

The all converged on Stars Hollow, that's where the Gilmore Girls live, because the town troubadour, GLP, had been discovered by a passing record executive...

It was funny...

In a quirky way....

1. I felt sooooo out of it
I knew those were real bands/musicians but didn't recognize them...I'm so old :(

My daughter wasn't home so I couldn't bug her about it...I sure she'll get a kick out of it when she watches it later.

But I don't know about that ending...WTF???

7. Actually, you're not old, these bands are.
They're really pulling bands out of the local retirement center for this one.

Damn, I love me some Tenga and Sonic Youth, but their heyday was almost fifteen years ago. Not that they aren't amazing, but don't feel bad. The bands are more underground and, to be honest, pretty old for bands. Not Rolling Stones old, but then no one really is...

8. They look the same.....
Only wrinkly.....

It's a show about three generations of women in a small town...

It is very witty, topical and all the women are easy on the eyes....

Even the one that's my age...

11. I've loved that show from the beginning
reminded me alot of my and my daughter. We finish each other's sentences and joke constantly. Of course, Rory and Loreleigh are even better at it because they have better writers! :)

12. You know it's a good show when they pay homage to
Dorothy Parker.....

I'd love to hear your banter....
