7. Don't feel bad,

I did the same thing last year. Me, who's mantra is "A waist is a terrible thing to mind", hypocritically hitting the gym 6-7 days a week, overdoing my normal routine twice over. You know what's even more pathetic? I secretly, smugly, enjoyed the attention I got from some of the dorks that never wanted to date me 20 years ago, who looked at me differently at the reunion. Douche bags who blew me off through jr high and high school; and not a lot going for them today, either. I like to believe I usually think more like a grown up, but it's funny, (meaning twisted, in this case), what high school memories stir up.

At least I realize when I'm being petty and shallow. And actually, I had a genuinely good time catching up with a lot of my former classmates, no smugness involved.
