What happened to the VW commercials w/ Peter Stormare

You know the ones where they "un-pimp your ride?" They were hilarious. Seems like they were only around for a few weeks and now we have the VW car crash ads which I hate. :(

And just when they had made it to the Weather Channel too. :(

I miss them. I've found the crash ads to be a little too disturbing...when I watch TV, I want chuckles, not to be frightened into a purchase.

2. Campaigns generally

run for a set media buy schedule. There are occassions where spots will run beyond their buy, if they're especially popular, but usually when the media runs out, that's it. The spending's on a budget, after all. I wouldn't be surprised if they popped up again for something like the MTV Video Music Awards or something.
