Post your strangest tip from yer elders here:
I'll begin. :)

Grandma told me a stick of celery, placed in the bread bag, would keep it soft and fresh longer. I believe she meant the bread. :shrug:

This is true. I keep a slice in with the brown sugar. Someone always forgets to seal the bag properly.
