Wooo....Someone is being arrested in front of my building....

It is like a live version of 'Cops'.

It looks like drunk driving. Now a cab driver is leaning out his window screaming for the cop cars to get out of the way.

I wish I had a camera:).

7. Just outside DC

in Prince Georges County, MD. It's the county force that pushes its weight around...especially when minorities are involved. I've yet to have a positive experience of any kind with them.

The state troopers have always been respectful...even when handing out a ticket. And on several occasions, they've come to my aid without my putting a call in (roadside assistance).

My local town cops have always been polite, too.

6. haha...I remember on this street where I lived a couple years ago,

there was always something going on, and one night there were some shots fired, and like a half hour later there were about a dozen police cruisers on my block, totally screwing up traffic. So this one frustrated guy, when he finally gets through the cop-car obstacle course, leans out his window and shouts, "What is this, the goddamn cop convention?!?" and then speeds off. Lucky for him the cops were all too preoccupied to care, but I thought it was pretty funny.

3. As someone who's been busted...

It's usually not funny. That is unless the cops are so dumb you need to restrain yourself from laughing at them while getting arrested.

5. A couple of years back

we had just moved into a new building when we seen a takedown right under our balcony. It was like a scene from cops, except it was quite chilly, and the bad guy wasn't bare chested.

It was quite fascinating to watch, and I stood on the balcony for almost an hour. Four cop cars and an ambulance...the guy was taken away with blood streaming from his head. Originally it was the transit cops that got him, and they were looking for a weapon afterwards...don't know if they ever found it. No incident report in the paper. :shrug:

About a half year later, saw a carjacking in process from that very same balcony.

Let's not get into the serial killer in that neighbourhood...:scared: (he was stalking prostitutes, nonetheless to think a monster is roaming my neighbourhood, even though he isn't coming after me personally, is frightening)

We barely stayed a year there, and moved out.
