DIET TIPS ---
It occurred to me that there are a couple of things almost everyone misses out on whenever they start dieting. Everyone attempts to master calories, exercise, discipline, etc. But, there are two techniques that everyone forgets. They forget the simple fact that it takes calories (energy) to heat water. The body, being 98% water has to have the water heated to 98.6 F. to function properly.

Taking this to it's logical extreme infers that you can aid your diet by drinking cold water, preferably ice water. Water coming in (cold) and water going out (98.6 F.) equals calories used. It would seem that the more cold water you drink the bigger this benefit. Of course you would lose this benefit if you drank beer, or soft drinks, because they bring in extra calories.

Since we are maximizing the benefits of heat control in your diet the next place to capture this benefit would be in your clothing. The main benefit would be captured by living naked in a cold enviorment. This could be increased by showering and standing or exercising in front of a fan while still wet. These techniques force your body to burn calories just to stay warm.

There are other items along this same line, but, for today remember
1. Drink plenty of cold water
2. Go naked

Above all, think thin.

1. Ice water is best, while a change of state occurs, (ie until all the ice
melts) the water will be held at 0 C (32 F, 273 K), and since the rate of heat transfer is dependant upon the difference in the temperatures, you will need a lot of heat energy.

2. You are correct - Heat of fusion is 144 BTU
This has to be input into the system before the temp will change.

3. You can lose a fair amount of water weight in the beginning of a diet
but there is such a thing as drinking too much water. Remember this: if your pee is coming out clear, you're probably drinking too much water.

5. I mean clear as in, the color of the water in the toilet
is the same as before you peed. No yellow whatsoever.

9. Great advice I am trying to take off my last 15-20 lbs

been at it hard for about 8 months now lost 50+ lbs of fat probably more since i have been hitting the gym.
I recently started taking Relacore it's supposed to control a fat storing hormone (cortisol) that stores fat around your gut when you are stressed or depressed.I think it maybe starting to work a little only been on it a few weeks.
Also another great diet tip..Get your heart broken..it does wonders.
