Got the new Pearl Jam yesterday...
...getting the new Neil Young on Tuesday.

The new self-titled Pearl Jam album is fantastic. It's their rawest, most stripped-down work in years, with potent sleeve art commenting on the butchery of war, and several topical tracks addressing current concerns, such as "Army Reserve", "Uemployable", "World-Wide Suicide" and "Severed Hand".

It's a great time for new music as bands are exercising their anti-Bush and and anti-war creds. Can't wait for the new Neil...

2. Can't wait for the new Neil Young either. Question about Pearl Jam:
What do you mean by self-titled?

On edit: Didn't Neil Young do an album with Pearl Jam? If so, is it any good?

8. Yes, and yes.
It's called "Mirrorball", from 1995. It is one of the best albums of the past 20 years.

12. Yes
It was the inverse... his playing with Eddie's vocals. It's a cool little set.

9. The old-timers have it going on!
I love Paul Simon too. Sounds good to me.

And the new Springsteen pays tribute to Pete Seeger and old-time gospel and folk.

14. I've been listening non stop since it came out
It's just brilliant. How great is Marker in the Sand? I've got tickets to see them in Boston in just a few weeks -- I'm home for a two week holiday and they considerately planned their tour around my schedule! I know it's going to be a lot of political awareness raising. It makes me proud to be a life long fan!
