4. yeah, come from a musical family on her side.
her sister sang opera in Dallas-Ft worth area. My brother plays stand up bass and acoustic guitar. I sing and write songs:blush:

And I'm a clarinetist. Benny was great but it is left to history whether he would have been truly spectacular. Artie had the grace of long life to prove his case.

And didn't Ben Pollack become Glenn Miller's drummer? And maybe that's when Krupa joined Goodman's band?

I was competent. With a speciality in cheesiness. That picture is of me cheesily playing the solo to Oh Lady Be Good with the county youth wind orchestra. :)
