Next week it was about 6 years ago, when Buddy came bounding into then President Clinton's life. At the time I thought "how cool is that, the Clintons now had a "First Pooch" as well as a "First Pussycat." It was about a year later that I wrote to both "first pets," probably inspired by Hillary Clinton's book "Dear Socks, Dear Buddy."
