I voted in yesterday's primary (of course), and...

...the voter turnout here was pitiful. I went to the polls at 2:30 PM (it was my birthday, and I had the day off! :D ), and according to the Board of Elections volunteers there, they had had 25 people all day until the time we showed up. 25 PEOPLE?!?!? :grr: That is truly a disgrace. Yes, it's "only" a primary, but it determines who shows up on the ballot when the "real" election happens. An idiot Freeper from the neighboring district actually won the Repuke nomination because only 2000 people voted in his district (there are 98,000 registered voters there). :mad:

It was pretty low-key, which suited me just fine. I just got mad when I found out how few people bothered to show up at the polls.
