Any DUers been to Death Valley @ the end of the year?
Thinking about thawing out there just after Xmas. I love the place in early Spring!

I live in the desert near Joshua Tree national park, and it is beautiful in the spring (which is Jan/Feb in the desert)

I shot a commercial for 4 days in death valley in the middle of winter a while back, and froze my ASS off.

Hot and warm it ain't.

Palm Springs might be a bit warmer.

I loved the tourist-free stretch south of Badwater. The more desert remains pristine the better as far as I am concerned.
