I used to drive truck and got used to having a CB with me when I travelled.

2. They are handy for checking highway conditions, and...
warning of hazards. A few years ago I got assistance from a trucker in shielding a drunk driver in rush hour freeway traffic. This guy could have killed someone!

3. I had a front tire blow out
on my car 2 winters ago. The truckdriver I was following pulled over immediately and changed it for me. It was the coldest, windiest night that winter. I still see him on the road and we've become friends. His kindness went above and beyond.

They used to call 'us' the knights of the road. I think there are still quite a few out there that would fit that description.

I won't ever leave someone stranded by the side of the road. I'll find a way to help if I can.

4. Take it from me...
Waaay too much bullshit on ch 19.
I stay on the company channel.
With nationwide wireless net access,
I get all the weather, traffic, ect
info I need.

7. You're correct there.
I know, being female as soon as I click the mic, I'll have way too many people try to talk to me and more than too many telling me how 'sexy' I sound, then there's those who would chime in " Yeah but she probably weighs 300lbs" pathetic.
