I'm listening to "Pet Sounds" on vinyl
Wow...I didn't think this album could have sounded any better...but it was meant for this format. Pure beauty.

2. Some rock does sound better on vinyl
I agree about Pet Sounds. Another is George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. It just sounds better on vinyl than CD...that wall of sound wasn't meant to be all cleaned up and digitized..even the remastered version doesn't sound good.

Pet Sounds is one of my all time favorite albums

3. I love "All Things Must Pass" so much!
You're right, it probably has to do with the Wall of Sound technique...it's not meant to be all separated and crystal clear.

Pet Sounds probably is my all time fave, but ATMP is definitely up there. Didn't Spector produce it? I have to get it on vinyl...still only have it on CD...

5. hundreds of years from now someone will try to
make a player to listen to a vinyl album. the only recording format ,that if stored properly, will last for hundreds of years..sounds go better with vinyl...
