In praise of my adult daughter
Edited on Mon Apr-24-06 08:53 PM by Ptah

She has passed the selfish, destructive teen years to
become a loving, caring young adult that has more
compassion and caring than I could have ever imagined.

I have two wounds from chest tubes that require some attention.
Without hesitation, she is caring for me.

:applause: :) :) :-)

4. My dear Ptah!
You are most fortunate to have her caring for you and those wounds....

They can be daunting!

Congratulations to both of you.......:loveya: :grouphug:

5. Good for her (and you)!
Sounds like my brother's daughter, who we came close to writing off. She now has a 4.0 GPA at the University of Georgia, is fluent in German and Spanish, and comes home every weekend to spend time with her (separated) mom and dad.
I love stories about good kids. Your daughter sounds wonderful.

6. Nice post, ptah.
It must be a trip to watch your kids grow up to adulthood and then be so happy at how they've turned out. I can only imagine....my oldest is entering the scary teenage years this coming fall. :scared:

I wish you all the best and take good care of yourself. :hi:
