Went to meetings and everything. For him, it was about getting involved with the community. He was startled to discover that the Masons - at least, the ones he dealt with - were not doing the evil-secret-society thing. Most of them agreed with his vie3ws on Bush, Iraq, etc.

I wish he were around to tell you about it. :)

One road trip, he regaled us with stories about Masonic initiation. And he called marijuana "shampoo" as a code name. Good times.

really good care of my mom when she broke her hip five years ago.
