Stupid plastic bags.
:rant: Why do most cashiers seem to have a problem grasping the "no bag, please" concept. Most of the time, I carry my canvas bags, but occasionally stop to pick up an item or tow. Today, I bought laundry detergent and asked for no bag. As I'm grabbing it to put back in my cart, she snags it and double bags it. WTF? It has a handle. I took it out of the bags and left them for her.

A few weeks back I bought a bucket and few small items. The women was trying to talk me into a bag.

Anyone live where they have a bag tax? Has it helped?
