Here's 2 finished illustrations from my book project

I posted the 1st one when it was 75% done. Now it's done.

and yea, they are good.

you could keep the second one close by, and change the faces to domb people we know all too well( people we dont have a liking for)

6. Well - a bunch of monsters appear and go to my grade school and I
(at age 9) don my super robot armor and save the school - YAY!

I watched alot of Voltron in my youth.

16. It's actually the elementary school that RandomKoolzip and I went to
I went there and shot reference photos. It's my first children's book so we'll see how it ends up. I've been practicing handbinding which is a zen kind of thing. Thanks for the input!

17. As I just said above I shot my own reference photos for the locations
Photography is one of the greatest artforms of all.

It won't be done for a while but I'll post the spreads and some product photos when it's done.

29. It's all adobe Illustrator - drawn straight in with a digital pen.

19. The 1st one kind of sets the tone - you know "the monsters arrive" kind of
thing. Then when they attack the school it picks up pace.

Once they get inside the school the action starts.

Forgive me for being so ignorant. What are the dimensions of items when you submit them to the publisher? Your stuff looks deceptively simple, but even I can see outstanding technique.

25. It's purely digital. I draw directly into the computer.
I'm trained in oil and watercolor so it translates well. The book will be 9x12.
