Need horror trivia for party! Anyone know a great site? Or trivia?
Here's an example: In Evil Dead II, what is the title of the book that's used as weight to trap the possessed hand?

Any interesting or funny horror movie trivia like that would be much appreciated.

Person I'm throwing the dinner party for has a particular interest in zombies.

Ghouls are good, too.

It's a horror-themed birthday party for a very hip college student, and the horror trivia questions will be the placemats, so I need 12 really great questions, and only have one, since I'm terrified of horror movies and never watch them. (The current administration is enough of a horror movie for me!)

1. Gee, I would say the IMDB
Edited on Fri Apr-21-06 06:45 PM by Book Lover
but that would limit you to horror movie trivia and ignore the substantial amount of literature... But that may be enough. Great idea, by the way!

4. Thanks. I'm using dry ice in the Bloody Mary's and skull cookies...
And working out some kind of corpse-like centerpiece.

It's very sweet of you to think of it.

I'm so conscientious about food, I even use organic tomato juice, and filtered water for real ice, and no black pepper because it's been associated with bacteria, so I greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness, and wish everyone were so!

3. In what community are the famous Exorcist stairs located
(the original movies)

Ans: Georgetown, in DC.

Variation would be what major university is located within blocks of the famous long stairs from the Excorcist (Georgetown U) - the U twist might be cool for a hip college student - unless he goes to college or grew up in the DC area - than this wouldn't be trivia - but common knowledge.

10. I am a fan...
I am a fan of horror movies, but not necessarily big on the trivia. I saw someone recommend www.imdb.com that is a great site. With each movie, it lists related trivia. If you want horror info try www.bloody-disgusting.com or www.chud.com those both have good info, and you can probably find trivia type questions from it.

Kevin.
