Tom "Cruise will eat placenta....no, really...
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 10:18 AM by MnFats

LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Dad-to-be Tom Cruise has vowed to eat the placenta of his newborn baby and plans to dine on the umbilical cord too.

The actor's bizarre plans are sure to shock his legions of fans but the Hollywood heavyweight insists he plans to cook the unusual meal after fiancée Katie Holmes gives birth.

The 43 year-old star told America's GQ magazine: "I'm going to eat the placenta. I thought that would be good. Very nutritious. I'm going to eat the cord and the placenta right there."

Cruise, a devoted Scientologist, made the decision after reading the afterbirth contains important nutrients and vitamins.

The 'Mission Impossible 3' star - who has been carrying out medical scans on the foetus with his own ultra-sound machine - has also told Holmes she must give birth in silence, in accordance with Scientology teachings, so the baby isn't traumatised during the birth.

The couple have been holding family pregnancy classes in their Beverley Hills home.

Cruise revealed: "We've been studying what a woman goes through, what happens to a woman's body."

4. Okay, reality check here.
Price of oil going up, mostly due to * playing cat-and-mouse with Iran.

Value of dollar is dropping universally against all foreign currencies.

Prices of commodities going up, American stock market going down.

Insecurity regarding *'s plans on Iran using the UN for cover.

Rumsfeld and Cheney are having orgasms at having their dreams of world domination that they've had since the Bay of Pigs realized.

And it is at least the third post I've encountered regarding Tom Cruise and his proposed neonatal diet.

I don't care. Let him do it. If he's looking for more media to help with the first week-end box office take for MI-3, let them knock himself out.

But I don't care. This does not affect our lives in any way.

6. And why is it he's still waiting to marry his "fiancee"?
These celebrity jerks who parent children with their "fiancees" must think they can avoid financial risk of alimony when they dump the mother of their child for someone else. I think a fiancee could bring a legal action for breach of contract because engagement is a promise to marry. It would be breaking new ground legally, and establishing new precedent, but laws alwlays change to reflect societal changes.

Query: Does scientology disapprove of marriage?

11. Cats do it...
after they give birth. Hey wait a minute!!! Why does Tom get to eat it? Katie is the one that should get to eat it! After all, she'll be nursing and can pass the additional nutrients on to the baby.
And they call themselves scientologists. Anyone with any sense would agree I have a viable point.
