my flat iron just shorted out and burned a hole in my shirt!
I have to use the flat iron after I get out of the shower otherwise my hair will turn into a frizzy mess so I turned it on so it could heat up just like every other night. When I picked it up a big spark shot out from the cord and hit me right below my ribcage! The damn thing burned a hole in my shirt (good thing it was an old sleep shirt) and there is even a little burn mark on my skin! I guess it could have been worse, the spark could have hit my hair or some other type of kindling.
Grrrrr now I have to spend like 40 bucks to buy a new one
