I'm getting a minivan!
We're doing the paperwork on an '03 Honda Odyssey this weekend to accomodate our second baby and frequent travels with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Then I sell my old Subaru and get to drive our Saab every day B-)

Now to head off the inevitable questions:
1) Q:why didn't you get a hybrid? A: We NEED the space and there are no such things as hybrid minivans (yet). Plus buying used is far greener than buying a new hybrid, and my wife only does ~4k miles a year.
2) Q: why didn't you buy Ford/GM/Chrysler? A1: the honda was by far the best of that generation minivan.
A2: because the non-chrysler ones kinda suck
A3: The chrysler ones are nice but have wretched seats and cheaper interiors
A4: honda's reliability rep (minus this car's tranny, to be covered by warranty)
A5: most power of that generation, mileage is as good or better than competitors.
3) Q: you bought a foreign car! Do you hate the American worker? A: No. My other car (the saab) is a GM car and the sube was built in indiana, so fuck off.
