Gave copies of my thesis to my committee today, and I already noticed...
many typos and other errors! Perhaps I should have reviewed this a bit more... they're mostly superficial mistakes, but I was pretty worn out when I was editing.
Think I have much reason to be concerned before my defense?
1. Don't look at it! Put your copy down right now!
An astronomer friend of mine explained that these are "read errors" which are introduced each time a person reads a piece of text. (Note that you will never find typos in a document which you do not read.)
