Question about HD video cameras
Are they sensitive enough to film those little dust particles we see floating in sunshine? Could that explain little, erratic, fast moving orbs caught in sunshine filming?

What would cause them in night time filming?

While I don't really discount many possibilities in the issue of UFOs, time traveling tiny dudes, interdeminsional do-dads, or even spirit entities, I think my neighbor needs to be grounded in more likely explanations for the oddities she films. I fear she may be going stir crazy and letting her imagination run amok.

So, what say you on the issue of orbs on High Definition Video? Spin me a tale or lay some rational thought on me.

hm

P.S. It is pretty damned dusty where we live, and not much in the way of population if that info is of help

1. I don't know much about video (just still photography), but I think it
could be digital "noise," which you also get when shooting a long exposure with a digital still camera. It's akin to the grain that you see with fast film. Or used to see, when there was such a thing as film.

That would be the night filming.

The "orbs" you see in "sunshine filming" I can pretty much guarantee are lens flare from shooting too directly into the sun. (It's refraction from the different glass elements and the diaphragm in the lens.) A lens hood could help with this. Flare can look like this:

Hope this helps.

4. To tell the truth, there have been some oddities seen by many
but not caught on film. Several folks have seen some strange things at night around here. Like, meteors that go up instead of down and things pacing you as you drive along dark gravel roads... things which take off in a manner not common in planes or helicopters when you turn and face them.

Then again, we got some weird stuff in our water too.
