2. I used to quote it on golf outings
Yule Brenner has to be the baddest ********** EVER in that movie.

I can do a dead on Yule Brenner impression too.

3. The pharoah in the new version is no Yul Brenner
I always loved him in the Magnificent Seven.

5. Gawd
what I would pay to see/hear that!!! :D

I was channel surfing Sunday, and came across that movie.

I even started to post a "viewer alert" in the Lounge.

But at least in this area, I'm not fickle.

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, can replace Charleston and Yul!!

:hi:

4. "Where's your messiah, NOW???"
One can't think of a more tragic example of miscasting than Edward G. Robinson in that film. What, James Cagney wasn't available?

7. "Dance mud turtles dance"
Vincent Price too.

That really is a horrible overacted overproduced movie. That is why I like it so much-they didn't just suck they sucked on a GRAND scale.

9. Only the "old" one for me
and even for that one, I turn it off once the Yul Brynner part is over. I was so lucky to see him TWICE on stage as the King in "The King & I."
