4. Last night there was a pair of binoculars under my comforter.

Happily, I saw the lump before I laid down to watch TV.
(Explanation: We sleep in a king sized bed with two single down comforters. No cover stealing. Works great. Try it.)

I put the binoculars under HER comforter.
HA! That'll teach her.
BTW, she regularly makes up the TV remote under the covers somewhere.
When I can't find it, I've learned to start patting down the bed until I discover it.

A few minutes later I thought better of what I'd done, and put the binocs back where they belong.
Hell, tomorrow's our 37th anniversary. I can sure cut her some slack.

People do dumb things, but it doesn't mean they don't love you.
It just means they did a dumb thing.

7. no idea how the thread started originally,

but I certainly catch the drift of the editted version (and noticed it some time ago.) Dynamics shift over time... and continue shifting. I find that the lounge and GD shift back and forth - periodically - as to which is more welcoming vs which is more contentious from time to time.
