1. self kick until Bobby gets some love. As great as everyone thinks he is,
Edited on Tue Apr-11-06 11:58 AM by henslee
he is even greater. He has played so many great characters. He has given up a real life for films. He always shows up and gives 110 percent. He never is bad. No one working can touch him. Butyeah, it is better to read the list of films i posted in reverse order.

2. I LOVE The King of Comedy
It's one of Scorsese's most under-rated movies, and DeNiro is great in it.

He also has it in his contract that he will only work an eight hour day. That's uncommonly civilized in the film business, where fifteen hour days are common. That also means, as he's in most shots of any film he's in, that the crew works a shorter day, too.

7. He is indeed the best.
I thought I'd seen most of his movies, but, since I am a huge fan, I'm embarrassed to admit I have not yet seen many of these films.

I am still bummed that Scorcese is only doing documentaries from now on... they were a great team.

8. He really is the best.. I mean sure there was some junk but as you
go down the list, thee are so many lesser thought of, solid performances -- Stanley and Iris, Jackknife, Deerhunter, Awakenings, Cape Fear.... I just cant shut up.

And yeah, Scorcese/DeNiro were a truly great team.

12. Deniro trivia.
Edited on Tue Apr-11-06 03:30 PM by maveric
Didja know that Deniro is 3/4 Irish? His father was 1/2 & 1/2 Irish/Italian, mother full Irish. Both his parents were artists in Greenich Village, who later divorced when his father came out of the closet.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000134/bio
