I was driving back into town tonight (spent a weekend at the parent's place), and as one drives to town on the Interstate, the actual city begins about 4-5 miles from the state line, between mile marker 4 and 5. And I was at mile marker 30 after twilight, and I saw a big pink haze off to the distance covering probably several degrees of the horizon. Once I got to mile marker 10, the pink haze covered almost the whole horizon.

I almost felt like the three wise men in that car following the lights (haze) home. It was weird. I never noticed anything like that before.
