i HATE fucking cigarettes

i'd quit for 4 years, then eft/up y took 1 hit. been hooked again for about a year.

much harder to quit the 2nd time. i'm working the patch, y popping turkish valium to keep me from becoming murderous.



when that xian-militia corners me after i've run out of ammunition, i'll make the usual "last cigarette" request before they put that bullet in the back of my head. that will be the ONLY time i ever smoke again.

I'm an ex-cigarette smoker, quit 1/1/92. For years, I craved a puff, mainly when I was drinking. I almost gave in when I saw soemone smoking a cigar, so I bummed one off him. It was exactly what I needed.

I smoke on average two cigars a week. Haven't been happier.

Seriously, I cannot STAND to be around cigarette/cigar/whatever smoke. When I was a kid and my family went on car trips, we would ALWAYS be subjected to nasty secondhand smoke clouds from my dad and/or grandmother. I would always complain, as would my sister, brother, and mother, but it made no difference to them---they'd smoke anyway. To this day, I get very upset when anyone around me is smoking, so if they won't stop, I leave the room no matter what.

I had thought of a solution to the secondhand smoke problem a few years back, and I think it's a great idea. All smokers should be required to wear a bubble helmet (kind of like the old-style space suits or deep-sea diver suits) and confine the cigarette smoke to the helmet. That way, smokers can bask in all the cancerous stinky glory that is concentrated cigarette smoke. They can get the maximum effect from their cigarettes 'cause they don't have to share the smoke with anyone, and the air for the rest of us is smoke-free. I actually mentioned that to my brother, who smokes (dumbass! :) ) about a pack a day, and he told me, "Geez, it'd be hard to breathe like that." My response: "Duh! Now you know what it's like from my end." 'Nuff said.
