Hey, anyone use EZBoard?

I'm on a board that has a political forum and a few rabid Repukes. It's not my board, but while there is a strong liberal presence there, the three conservatives get really nasty sometimes. So if anyone wants to join the other liberals and myself there, it would be great to have more power for the Democrats and liberals, and even the greens.

Some people can be asses, but some of the liberals do manage to get their point across. It might never happen, but to even make one of the conservatives think--which we know is often quite impossible--it would be well worth it.

If you've never used EZBoard, it's a regular discussion forum, with the allowance for (often) wild design elements, which change on a regular basis. You would need to register if you aren't already, but it's a simple process, and all global members can take advantage of all the many thousands of EZBoards around.

No, I don't work for EZBoard (:)) but I've hung around them for the last four years, because they're a lot of fun.

The forum devoted to politics is The Nuclear Submarine. Other forums include one on Entertainment, Ranting (where you cam grouse about anything you want), Sex (in general terms!), Sports, Inspiration and Spirituality, and several more, including a general discussion forum.

1. I have an EZ board

You don't have to register to post on them. The person in charge of the particular board can delete threads and, I believe, block posters. I'm not sure about that, as everyone that comes to my board is quite nice. Even though my board has to do with entertainment, politics do get mentioned, and, so far, only one person has said they were conservative. We liberals have been polite to her, and she's been polite back.

and got sidetracked at the Metaphysical site (I've never met a metaphysician I didn't like :) ) I was surprised that the moderator required regstration. I don't at my board, and I guess I assumed it was the same elsewhere. Sorry for my mistake.

It's a big board, and it's been around for awhile. I have several boards there myself, but like yours, most of them are entertainment related.

Why? The board has an EZOp, but about 10 administrators. I think he's only the owner because he got the original board going. Other than that, he's just a participant.
