These leaders have been cannibalized by the extreme left-wing special interest groups, groups that care only about their narrow agenda that they put ahead of the party and that they put ahead of the country as they so clearly showed last fall in the debate over homeland security and as they have shown this week in the debate about the confirmation of judges.

Nothing has pleased me more in recent weeks than seeing President Bush boldly making the central theme of his presidency the idealism of American foreign policy in areas where, as he put it, "Freedom does not flourish." Bush goon Wolfie was the 2002 recipient, but I couldn't bring myself to read the vomitus he spewed as an acceptance speech. Somehow the 2003 winner didn't come in at the top of my google search.
