Doesn't this always happen?
A week ago I lost my watch. I only take it off when I wash dishes or go to bed and it wasn't in either of the two places I leave it. Looked everywherein the house, checked the washer, the garbage disposal, the car, even went and searched the church because I had just gotten home when I noticed my watch was missing. Couldn't find it anywhere and I was so bummed because I really like it.

Last Tuesday I received my 15 years of service awards catalogue from work and got to choose a gift. They had a couple of relatively nice watches so I ordered one yesterday.

Today I found my watch. In my work bag. It must have fallen off the dresser.

My grandfather always said that if you want to find something you've lost, replace it. How right he was.
