I got a publisher

No hard timetable yet, and a firm contract offer won't come until I meet with the marketing people, but the publisher has basically made an offer to make an offer to publish my book. A few tweaks to the manuscript on my end, an accounting of the marketing budget on their end, and we will be (I am 99% sure) off to the races.

One really exciting bit is that he maybe wants to fold my Iraq book, specifically the interview with Ritter, into this manuscript. Kind of a then-and-now deal. This is great, because you can't get that book anymore since the publisher went belly-up. It would be nice to have that back out there, since it was pretty much the first book to come out and say there aren't WMD over there.

So. Anyone telling you that Lounge good vibes don't work is full of manure.
