19. Tempest and Dig Dug
There was a way on the older Tempest machines to get your high score between 140 and 160 thousand, lop the last two digits off your score just right, and you'd have all kinds of shit ranging from 40 free games to unlimited extra men to starting on whatever level you wanted. I have Tempest on my PC and Dig Dug on my PS2.

26. Riddle of the Sphinx. A pretty complicated (for the time) game by
Activision. It took two people to play it. At least, that's how my brother and I played. One to play, and one to read the pamphlet that came with it. It talked you through the game, what prizes to seek out, how to renew your energy, how to avoid being killed by asps and scorpions and stuff. It was pretty cool. And it had an actual ending, and you could win. It wasn't like a lot of those games that just keep upping the ante until you lose.

I really dug Scarab of Ra and Crystal Quest.

I downloaded those for the iMac so I could still play them.

Good times.

36. Jumping Jack on the Speccy.

Jumping Jack is quick and bold
With skill his story will unfold

I completed it for the first time almost 20 years later when I really should have been studying.

2nd best would be a toss up between Hungry Horace and Horace Goes Skiing.

Galaga and Frogger.

I have Namco's 50th Anniversary game for PS2 which includes a lot of awesome oldies. In addition, I have the Atari Anthology as well which includes great games. Check them out.
