1. It's impossible to listen to that song while reading Plato.
I've done studies.

3. Hey Xema!

That song has been rattling around in my cranium all day. I have no idea what prompted that. I don't even really like it - more like one of those songs I love to hate.

I'm not entirely sure Plato would like the song, either. I mean I think metaphorically speaking he would find it fascinating with respect to the whole amor platonicus school of thought. But I just really don't see him getting down with his bad self to the funk groove.

5. Ever heard
the Red Hot Chili Peppers cover of that song? It always cracks me up.

6. No, I haven't. But it sounds like fun.

Tell me about it?

7. It's really goofy
choppy and staccato in an exagerated OTT sort of way. Very cartoony. That's why it makes me laugh.

8. I prefer it, LOL. Heard it first, and I like the changed lyrics.
The Chili Peppers have it "Your love is like a rollercoaster baby baby, I wanna ride".

I believe the original is "Your love is like a rollercoaster baby, baby, I refuse to ride".

Hmm.

I do believe Anthony Kiedis murders any coherent lyrics though.

I know! It wouldn't be nearly as much fun otherwise, eh?
